Choreographer’s Notes Ancora lá which translates to “still there,” refers to the visitors we encounter in the dream state and the strange, profound communication that can occur there. For years, I have been drawn to the musical design created for the film about Farinelli who was a great castrato singer (1705-1782). In order to make Farinelli’s singing voice as accurate as possible, the film team had to combine the voices of countertenor Derek Lee Ragin and soprano Ewa Malas-Godlewska. This resulted in a sound and tone both majestic and haunting, perfect for a journey into the subconscious.  I am pleased to dedicate this work to Bob Moore and his wife Karen for their support of my vision and the company since its inception in 2002.—Dominic Walsh
